  • Residential Certificate of Inspection Form, Sale of Property, signed by the owner or agent and the buyer or agent, with the closing date
  • Inspection by the Code Enforcement Officer; no certificate is issued while violations exist
  • Someone must be present to give the inspector entry
  • The home must comply with all other Borough ordinances and requirements

Each reinspection after the first and second, per dwelling (Code 9-4.8d)$500

  • Smoke detectors on each floor and the basement, UL listed (Code 16-6.8)
  • Carbon monoxide detectors in homes with fuel-burning appliances or an attached garage, one per sleeping area (Code 16-6.8)
