Hardwired smoke alarms must stay and cannot be replaced with battery alarms
CO alarm in the hallway within 10 feet of all bedroom doors; CO alarms older than 7 years must be replaced; not plugged into switched outlets or near floor molding
Fire extinguisher rated 2A10BC (5 lbs), brand new or dated/tagged for the current year, mounted visibly within 10 feet of the kitchen or toward an exit from the kitchen
