- Owner certifies the dwelling and all other structures meet the City's zoning requirements
- No rubbish, debris or bulk garbage may be left on the property before the new occupancy

Smoke and CO alarm certificate
Required- Requirements
- Smoke alarms must be 10-year sealed battery or hardwired, on each level including basements (not attics or crawl spaces) and outside each separate sleeping area within 10 feet of the bedrooms
- Carbon monoxide alarms outside each sleeping area
- All alarms must work
- Hardwired (A/C-powered) smoke alarms from the original construction may not be replaced with battery alarms
- Homes with a secondary power source (generator, solar panels, battery storage) need a 'CAUTION: MULTIPLE SOURCES OF POWER' label (not handwritten) within 18 inches of the main electrical panel and the electric meter
- A property representative or homeowner must be present at the inspection; a no-show counts as a failure
