- Continued Certificate of Occupancy (CCO) for change in ownership

- Requirements
- Notify the Zoning Officer of the impending change in ownership and pay the inspection fee
- Inspection for obvious noncompliance with Township Board of Health ordinances, Chapter 135 (Sewers) and the Zoning chapter
- Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in the right locations and working at the time of inspection (the CCO fee includes the smoke/CO inspection)
- Fire extinguisher (the Township's Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors & Fire Extinguishers handout is linked from the CCO section) (form still lists it)
- The inspection does not cover the septic, sewage disposal, well, plumbing, electric or other systems

- Contact the Zoning Officer two weeks before closing. By code, the Zoning Officer inspects within 14 days of notice and issues the certificate within one business day of a passed inspection.

- Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms in the appropriate locations and working at the time of the CCO inspection
- Fire extinguisher (listed on the Township handout linked from the CCO section) (form still lists it)
