Required- Requirements
- Smoke alarm on every level, less than 10 years old and working
- Basement alarm at the bottom of the stairwell on the ceiling, not between joists
- Hallway smoke alarms within 10 feet of all bedroom doors
- Hardwired smoke alarms cannot be replaced with battery alarms
- CO alarms in the hallway within 10 feet of all bedroom doors, less than 7 years old and working
- House numbers at least 4 inches high, contrasting color, permanently attached and visible from the street; light post or mailbox numbers not accepted
