Curb, sidewalk, driveway and apron free of major cracks and tripping hazards
Roof, gutters, siding, masonry, exterior doors, windows and screens in good repair (roof, electrical, HVAC, water heater and plumbing certifications may be required)
Exterior steps, decks, porches, guardrails (36 inch) and graspable handrails in good repair; decks and sheds must have been permitted
Chimney in good repair; certification required if a wood burning appliance is present
Pools permitted, clean, with self-closing gate and 48 inch minimum enclosure
Smoke alarms hardwired or 10 year sealed lithium, working, on every level in a common area
Carbon monoxide alarms on each level in a common area
ABC fire extinguisher, 10 lbs or under, within 10 feet of the kitchen
Stove anti-tip device; bathroom, kitchen and dryer ventilation working
GFI outlets in bathroom, kitchen, laundry and within 6 feet of any water source
No double keyed exterior locks; no keyed locks on interior doors
Walls, ceilings and floors in good repair; exterior grounds clean, no unpermitted fire pits
