Homestead Benefit
The Homestead Benefit was New Jersey's earlier state property tax relief program. ANCHOR replaced it starting with the 2019 tax year, and ANCHOR covers both homeowners and renters.

The last Homestead Benefit was for the 2018 tax year, and its filing deadline was November 30, 2021. So if you are looking up state relief for 2018 or earlier, look for Homestead Benefit records. For 2019 and later, look for ANCHOR.
