Stay NJ
Stay NJ is a property tax benefit for homeowners 65 or older. You claim it on the same PAS-1 form as ANCHOR and Senior Freeze, and the amount depends on your tax bill and those other benefits. Renters and mobile home owners cannot get it.
New Jersey example
For the 2025 tax year, the state lists a top yearly benefit of $6,500 for income up to $100,000, $5,000 for $100,000.01 to $150,000, and $4,000 for $150,000.01 to $200,000. Over $200,000 gets $0. You must have owned and lived in the home for all of 2025. The 2025 benefit is set to be paid in February and May 2027.
