  • All smoke detectors and CO alarms in working order; battery units allowed and interconnection not required (AC or interconnected alarms in homes built after January 1977 must be kept working)
  • Fire extinguisher of the correct size, mounted, within 10 feet of the kitchen (form still lists it)
  • Owner or authorized representative does the inspection and signs a notarized certification in lieu of inspection
