Certificate of Occupancy on resale (Residential, sale) · Borough of Sea Bright Code Enforcement Officer (C. O. Inspector)
- Inspection showing the dwelling is fit for human habitation under the New Jersey State Housing Code and complies with all other Borough ordinances
- Dwelling must meet the Borough occupancy standards (minimum floor area per occupant and per sleeping room)
- Fee paid to the Borough Clerk when the application is filed; not refundable
- Smoke alarm / carbon monoxide alarm certificate for the sale (see fire certificate)

- Good for: The certificate applies only to the occupancy for which it is issued. No new fee is charged for an inspection within three months of a previous paid application for the same unit.
