• All construction permits closed out before the inspection
• Legible house numbers clearly visible from the street
• Sump pumps not piped into the sanitary sewer and discharged properly
• Boilers, hot water heaters and water softeners installed with required permits
• Front door dead bolts keyless on the interior side
• Damaged or uneven public sidewalks and aprons must be replaced (permit required)
• Smoke Detector Certificate of Compliance applied for at the same time

Smoke and CO alarm certificate Required

• Smoke detectors on every level, including the basement
• Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors within 10 feet of all sleeping areas
• All detectors in working order
• Smoke detectors UL approved with a 10-year sealed battery
