• A current survey must be submitted with the application
• The owner certifies the home and all other structures on the lot meet Township zoning
• No rubbish, debris or bulk garbage may be left on the property before the new occupancy
• List any deck, fence, shed, pool, garage or finished basement on the application
• Smoke alarms by year built: before 1984 on all levels and outside each sleeping area (battery alarms OK); 1984 to 1990 also interconnected; after 1990 on all levels and in each bedroom, interconnected, with battery backup
• Carbon monoxide alarms (UL 2034 listed) near each sleeping area
• No door locks that need a key to get out
• House numbers at least 3 inches high, contrasting color, readable from the curb
• Fire extinguisher: at least 5 lb ABC dry chemical in the kitchen area (listed on the resale application)
• A separate Smoke Detector Inspection application and fee are also required for residential properties

• House numbers at least 3 inches high, contrasting, readable from the curb
• A Certificate of Resale must also be filed
