  • Visual inspection of the exterior and interior; an adult must be present and gas, water and electric must be on
  • Any open permits must be finalized by the Building Department before the C/O inspection
  • Exterior items include visible house numbers (at least 4 inches), gutters, roof, windows and screens, handrails on stairs with 4 or more risers, guardrails on porches 30 inches or higher, no peeling paint, pool fencing with self-latching gate
  • Separate smoke detector / carbon monoxide alarm compliance inspection (see fire certificate)
