• Carbon monoxide alarms on each level and outside sleeping areas
• GFCI outlets at kitchen and bathroom counters, within 6 feet of a utility sink or wet bar, and in garages and outdoors
• Portable fire extinguisher (2A-10B:C, 10 lb max) within 10 feet of the kitchen, on its bracket, top no higher than 5 feet, with the manual left for the new occupant
